Yes, the first big challenge of the season and it's coming round very quickly.
Since Christmas I have been trying to get some base miles in and throw in some cross training for good measure. Started off with 10 mile rides and have been building it up by about 10/20 miles each time, so the next ride i do should be around 60/70 miles depending on the weather and how i am feeling on the day and whether i get lost of course. My aim is to get some good miles in on different routes and do some hill climbs as well - couple this with training at the gym and trying to get my diet in check (uphill struggle), I am hoping to be ready for this 73 miles sportive and complete it without killing myself.
