Location: Leatherhead (Surrey Hills)

Conditions: Cold/cloudy/drizzly and then brightening up in the afternoon.

Total Mileage: 69.5 miles (not the 106km advertised as route changed).

Route:

Food: Tea, Weetabix & Honey, Juice, Gel, Energy Bar x 2, Cake, Tea, Ham & Cheese Bun, Latte, Pistachio & Sweet Potato Cake, Tea. (this was just me and I didn't have any dinner as was too lazy).

Who was not really looking forward to this? We started on Coldharbour Lane and were going to be cycling on a very different Coldharbour Lane in an hour or so.

The temperature was decidedly frosty and got worse before the race started.

Everyone was in good spirits and raring to go. (not)
