Mountain Mayhem 2010 - 18/19 June

The weekend has only just begun so lets get dirty.

The World's Biggest 24hr Endurance Race
The 2500 spaces available are gone within hours and you have to be quick to get a place. Racing alongside professionals, teams from the RAF and Scott the atmosphere is definately charged. The racing starts at 2pm on Saturday and finishes 2pm Sunday, giving us all night to play on our bikes. The camps range from small tents to large motorholmes and marquees equipped with tv's and bbqs. Andy loos provide the ....... well you've guessed it :))))), (by sunday you may want to give them a miss).

We stopped at Lake Annecy on the way to Les Allues for lunch.

The chalet
We arrived at Les Allues - the chalet was beyond our expectations.

The View

Shoes, shoes, shoes - well not just any old shoes - Sidi shoes to be precise the Jimmy Choo of the cycling world.

Grant wandering lonely as a cloud - well trying to muster up strength to get up the hill

Lying in the grass enjoying the sunshine

Does my bum look big in this?

View across and down to the village of Les Allues.
